Wetland ecology and marsh birds
Area agreement Eastern Vechtplassen
In the Eastern Vechtplassen, 21 parties have signed an agreement in which it has been agreed to develop recreation in the area and to better protect nature. LEN employees advise these parties and contribute to the development of protection measures. For example, the layout of the NNN is made concrete and the protection of reed collars is realized by placing grids against feeding by water birds. Plans for recreational developments are being examined for feasibility and opportunities for improving nature. This project is a commission from De Provincie Noord-Holland.
