Habitat use of great bitterns in Brenne (France)

Great bitterns live in the National Park Brenne in nature reserve Cherine in France. The management of the area is partly focused on this species and requires more basic knowledge about behaviour and habitat use of the species. For this reason, Jan van der Winden assisted with trapping great bitterns so we would give three males a biologger to be able to follow them. The project is being carried out in collaboration with the National Park team.
